Sushi Tokyo Ten 2026: Menu, Prices & Booking from ¥5,500

Sushi Tokyo Ten 2026: Menu, Prices & Booking from ¥5,500

Sushi Tokyo Ten omakase starts at ¥5,500 for weekday lunch. Compare the Shibuya Stream, Shinjuku, Roppongi and Takanawa branches, and how to book each.

Introduction

Sushi Tokyo Ten (SUSHI TOKYO TEN) is a small chain of omakase sushi counters where a weekday lunch course costs ¥5,500 and the standard dinner omakase costs ¥9,900, tax included. The branch most visitors search for is Sushi Tokyo Ten Shibuya, on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Stream and connected directly to Shibuya Station. There are also counters in Shinjuku (NEWoMan), Roppongi (Tokyo Midtown) and Takanawa (NEWoMan Takanawa), plus one in Yokohama.

This guide covers all four Tokyo branches, with the Shibuya Stream branch first. Every price, hour, address and booking rule below was checked against the official site, the TableCheck and ResReserve booking pages, and Tabelog branch pages in October 2026. That matters because some listings still show old prices.

Sushi Tokyo Ten Shibuya: the Shibuya Stream branch

Shibuya is the branch most visitors look for under "sushi tokyo ten". It opened on 13 September 2018 on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Stream and seats 26 across counter and tables (maximum party 28). The official concept is "a little of many seasonal ingredients": you are first served one piece of nigiri, then small plates (otsumami) and nigiri alternate. The shari (rice) is seasoned with red vinegar (akazu).

What to order

  • Lunch Omakase, ¥5,500 (weekdays only): the seasonal-nigiri course the booking page recommends for first-time guests.
  • Omakase, ¥9,900 (dinner): small plates alternating with nigiri.
  • Tuna Tasting Course, ¥13,200: akami, chutoro, otoro, zuke-marinated tuna and small plates.

Practical info

  • Location: Shibuya Stream 3F, 3-21-3 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0002
  • Nearest station: Shibuya Station, directly connected from the Tokyu Toyoko/Den-en-toshi and Hanzomon/Fukutoshin lines via Exit C2, and from the JR New South Exit
  • Hours: 11:00-15:00 (last order 14:00) and 17:00-23:00 (last order 21:30). Lunch seatings start at 11:00 or 13:30
  • Closed: None listed on Tabelog (follows the building)
  • Price: Lunch ¥5,500 (weekdays) / Omakase ¥9,900 / Full Omakase ¥13,200 (drinks included) / Tuna Tasting Course ¥13,200
  • English menu: No à la carte menu because the courses are chef's choice; the TableCheck booking page and course descriptions are in English
  • Reservation: TableCheck, credit card required. Tabelog online booking also works. Groups (Tabelog notes 3 or more) and same-day bookings go by phone on 03-6427-5076. You cannot choose counter or table online
  • Payment: Fully cashless since April 2025. Cards (VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, Diners, UnionPay), e-money and QR payments (PayPay, d払い, Alipay, WeChat Pay). No cash
  • Official sources: Tabelog Shibuya page

Insider tip

Seatings are timed (TableCheck says 90 minutes for lunch, Tabelog course pages say 2 hours), and Tabelog treats a party 15 minutes late with no contact as a no-show. Use the Exit C2 or JR New South Exit route to reach the 3rd floor.

Sushi Tokyo Ten menu and prices

There is no à la carte list. Four courses run across the Tokyo branches (Yokohama does not list Full Omakase), all tax included:

CoursePriceWhat it is
Lunch Omakase¥5,500Weekdays only. Seasonal nigiri focus, recommended for first-time guests
Omakase (dinner)¥9,900Small plates plus nigiri. Called Evening or Dinner Omakase at some branches
Full Omakase¥13,200All-inclusive with all drinks. Last drink order is 30 minutes before the end and glasses can be swapped
Tuna Tasting Course¥13,200Tuna in several cuts, for example akami, chutoro, otoro and zuke, plus small plates

The course price covers food only, except Full Omakase. One Roppongi reviewer on Tabelog reported about ¥11,000 in total for the ¥9,900 course plus soft drinks, so budget a little above the headline price if you plan to drink.

We could not find a published piece count for any course, so do not count on a specific number.

How to book Sushi Tokyo Ten

Sushi Tokyo Ten reservations are made online, and the booking pages are in English. You need a credit card to complete the booking.

  2. Shinjuku: the booking URL has changed. The official site now links to ResReserve at res-reserve.com/restaurants/sushi-tokyo-ten-shinjuku. TableCheck says bookings made on the old Shinjuku page must be cancelled and rebooked there.
  3. Same-day and groups: phone the branch. Same-day changes cannot be made online.
  4. Pick the course when you book. Lunch is bookable on weekdays only.

Roppongi is the largest branch, with 41 seats across counter and tables, and it opened on 1 August 2019. It is also the only one whose TableCheck page offers a separate "Table (Kids OK)" seat category next to "Counter (adult)", which makes it the easiest choice if you are bringing children.

Sushi Tokyo Ten Takanawa at NEWoMan Takanawa

Takanawa is the newest branch, opened on 12 September 2025, on the 28th floor of NEWoMan Takanawa beside Takanawa Gateway Station. Tabelog tags it for its view and night view. It seats 32, and the brand styling here is "SUSHITOKYOTEN、高輪", so do not be thrown if the name looks different.

Which Sushi Tokyo Ten branch should you pick?

The courses and prices are the same across the Tokyo branches, so choose by location and logistics:

  • Staying or shopping around Shibuya: the Shibuya Stream branch is station-connected, but fully cashless.
  • Arriving or leaving through Shinjuku: Shinjuku is zero minutes from the New South Gate. Book on ResReserve, not TableCheck.
  • Travelling with children: Roppongi has a Table (Kids OK) seat category and the most seats (41).
  • Wanting a view: Takanawa is on the 28th floor, and Tabelog tags it for night views.
  • Heading to Yokohama: a fifth branch is on the 8th floor of JR Yokohama Tower NEWoMan, with lunch ¥5,500, dinner omakase ¥9,900 and Tuna Tasting Course ¥13,200 (no Full Omakase listed). Details are on the official site.

If you are also eating around Shinjuku, our best sushi in Shinjuku guide lists more places near the station.

House rules: cancellation, kids, allergies and dress

Read these before you book, because they are stricter than at a typical restaurant.

  • Cancellation: Same-day cancellation is charged in full on TableCheck. Tabelog's wording is ¥9,900 per person for a same-day cancellation or headcount change. Same-day changes can only be made by phone.
  • Late arrival: Being 15 minutes late without contacting the restaurant counts as a no-show (Tabelog).
  • Children: Children are allowed, including infants, but there are no baby chairs and no kids' menu. Children of elementary-school age and older are served the omakase course.
  • Allergies and diets: The Shibuya booking page says guests with a severe allergy to crustaceans, shellfish, squid or octopus, or who cannot eat seafood or raw fish, will be refused entry. Strict gluten-free diners are declined because soy sauce is used in most dishes.
  • Dress code: No clothing dress code is stated. Tabelog asks guests to avoid strong perfume or scented cosmetics.
  • Other: No birthday plates, and no bringing your own food or drink. You cannot request counter or table online.

Is Sushi Tokyo Ten worth it?

For a first omakase, yes, as long as the rules suit you. ¥5,500 for a weekday lunch counter course and ¥9,900 for dinner are low prices for a seated, chef-served course, and the English booking pages make it easy to reserve. Roppongi's kids' seating and Takanawa's 28th-floor setting give you reasons to pick a branch beyond convenience.

The trade-offs are real. Seatings are timed, the late-cancellation charge is full price, the Shibuya branch takes no cash, and guests who cannot eat raw fish or shellfish are turned away. Reviewers report that chefs explain dishes in basic English, so do not expect a long conversation. If you want a relaxed, flexible meal, a conveyor belt place suits better.

Check the date on any price you read elsewhere. Dinner omakase was ¥8,470 until April 2023, ¥8,800 from May 2023 to May 2024, and has been ¥9,900 since 1 June 2024. Lunch has also risen from ¥4,950 to today's ¥5,500. Some aggregator pages still show the old figures.
